The translation services I provide are those of a human brain with eyes pointed at the screen of a personal computer connected to the internet and hands operating a keyboard. Inasmuch as artificial models of human language and knowledge don't cut it when it comes to processing texts of higher than low value and complexity (hence why I expand the acronym AI as 'Artificial Idiocy'), I continue to base my work off of a thorough understanding of the meaning of each text with the aim of conveying this meaning to readers in the target language.

This, however, doesn't mean that I 'm a Luddite refusing all helpful assistance of modern technology. No, I've incorporated the technologies of computer-assisted translation (CAT) years ago, for the immense benefit of both myself and my customers. My CAT tool of choice is the awesome and free-as-in-freedom application OmegaT, which (among other benefits) gives me good interoperability wi​th Trados if you still use it (which you shouldn't). I'm nevertheless open to working with any CAT programme, provided that I can use your licence.
